during one of his more dynamic poses. Somehow he pulls this off with a style befitting the energy of their set which seems to move through phases of musical genres but never moving too far from their core sound.

The Effuse have an understanding of the dynamics of song-writing without feeling the need to stretch it beyond all

recognition as so many space rook bands do, they know how to take an idea and have fun with it. There always seems to be slightly askew in their approach, odd but not definable. Maybe it's the diverse cultural backgrounds that enables them to write what amounts to quite straight forward rock from a slightly different angle.
